Student aspirations were high on Tuesday 14 January when they had the opportunity to talk to Dr Melanie Thorley from the University of Greenwich. Dr Thorley heads up the university STAART programme which is aimed at young people with a disability, including mental health, to support them making an application to university and offering assistance whilst at university. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and confirm their understanding that ANYONE can go to university if they want it and work hard to achieve it.
