On Monday 11th November, Pupils volunteered to help sell Poppies to other students and staff during their break and lunch time to raise money for the Royal British Legion. In the afternoon, all students took part in a whole-school assembly and one minute silence to honour those that gave up their lives for us today. As part of the assembly, students learned about the significance of the Marigold: a symbol of Remembrance for over-seas allies such as those from modern day Pakistan as well as learning about all the different ethnicities and cultures that came together as one to fight for freedom.
