General
Welcome to the Hayes Campus of Bromley Trust Academy.
We provide education and support for 11 - 16 year olds, helping them to discover new learning, make progress and achieve to their full potential.
Our expert team creates a stimulating, challenging and inspiring learning environment, enabling pupils to develop their independence and decision-making skills. Working in partnership with parents/carers and the pupils themselves, we prepare young people for a successful return to mainstream school or to access a specialist school setting.
At BTA we use the 'Show My Home Work' (SMHW) learning platform to support the learning of our students. This resource is accessible to all students whether they are at school or in the home. The link to SMHW can be found below
Our aim is for students to engage with reading, both inside and outside of school, to help them discover a wider range of interests and topics and develop a love of reading for pleasure. Each Monday, every subject teacher will upload a reading activity, extract or interesting article onto Show my Homework for students to read and engage with, helping to build skills and confidence across all subject areas. Students can access each of the tasks using their Show my Homework log in details which are provided upon their entry into the school. We encourage all our students to engage with these extracts on a weekly basis to help develop their learning beyond the classroom.
Additional work and resources for students can be found below sectioned according to year group.
Please email each subject teacher with any queries regarding the work that has been set. Completed work can also emailed to subject teachers for marking and feedback
